The knee is one of the most vulnerable joints in the body because it is between the hips, and ankles and feet. If there are muscles out of balance that connect the pelvis to the thighs to the knees, it will create strain and tension in the knees. Similarly, if the feet are misaligned and have limited function, this imbalance will travel to the knees. These misalignments cause stress and tension, eventually wearing out the knee joint.
