Mind-Body Therapies for Insomnia

As an integrative nutrition mind-body health coach, I work with my clients to help them develop strategies and habits to manage symptoms of stress. 

And as a very busy mother, wife, coach, teacher, and business owner I too have to remember to recognize and manage my own stress when my to-do lists get too long and life gets overwhelming.

Stress can sabotage our weight-loss goals in many ways by raising our cortisol levels and sparking cravings for caffeine, alcohol and sugar. Stress can also affect your sleep, and when you don't sleep, it is easy to lose motivation to exercise and eat well.

Mindfulness based practices, Yoga, meditation and exercise are all ways to help us manage our stress. Here are some great tips to help you have a peaceful night's sleep to give you the energy you need to fuel your workouts and keep your mind in balance. http://huff.to/119roAJ
